Finding focus is moving forward to success.
My steps to find my focus
1. It’s Not About the Website
In it’s not about the website James Schramko covers research factors essential to increasing your business online. He also covers the essential types of traffic and how to get loads of it. How to create a mafia offer that is hard to refuse and the one word technique that doubled his business in a month are hard to pass up.
James Schramko created this product after a Billionaire Adventure Club in which he spent his time answering the same questions for entrepreneurs. The big tips he gave out that contributed to his success and those of his students are covered in this product.
For me, it helped me just pare back and focus. To think about what I wanted to do, where I wanted to be, and how I could really leverage internet marketing to get there. Read the rest of this entry

As I mentioned in my last post I had a second failed joint venture during the time I was throwing everything I had at my Fast Web Formula affiliate pounce.
Again this failure had positives.
The Partnership
The JV was about an inspirational women’s networking group. Something not about building business but about creating connection.
I helped develop the idea that began with someone else through a synergy that was happening.
She was ready to give up at the end of the year but I could see how it could be monetized. I could see how we could make it into a much bigger and better forum for women using our ideas and internet marketing. Read the rest of this entry

The final Underground Profit System (UGPS) happened in September 2009. By this time I was timekeeping on the courses and trying to make affiliate sales.
Inexperience
I didn’t really know much about affiliate marketing. I hadn’t done enough to really know I could create any affiliate success. It was this inexperience that led to me losing my first sale.
Well I made the sale. I even signed them up through my page to be sure. What could be wrong with that you ask? The link I had added was not my affiliate link but the link straight to the sales page so I did not get a commission! That was the person I sold into the last UGPS. Read the rest of this entry

So I had made an affiliate page. I had succeeded in pushing through without giving up.
What Next?
During this time I had been dabbling in social media. I had this feeling we should be using it at work but not how! I had also had a 20 year reunion some months before and was the only person not on Facebook or so it felt. I reconnected with a guy I went to school with and entered into a joint venture.
OK so honestly it was all a bit more complex and to and fro than that! But basically I had an idea that I would do what I did at work – solutions – and help businesses create healthy growth. Read the rest of this entry

Having been on such a stop-start path to success I wanted to share with you my experiences.
The Beginning
I had a huge blew with my boss. I felt like I was giving everything I had to that business to the detriment of every other aspect of my life.
As you can imagine feeling accused of a whole stack of stuff I didn’t feel really happy about the situation. However I remained as calm as I could and I made the decision to find a resource within myself to allow me to let go and move on. This was not easy but I not only succeeded I felt a huge sense of relief and like a weight had lifted from me.
So I asked for a new opportunity and the eyes to see it. Read the rest of this entry

Do you ever get so busy you lose sight of your priorities?
I do, and have. It has been so long since I’ve written here. Fast Web Formula happened back in March and what an amazing event it was but it pushed me through so many new barriers.
Don’t you love the way you can go to an event, have a fantastic time but even while you’re there you can feel “your stuff” rising. You can feel the tears building just behind your eyes. Or am I the only one?
Well this happened to me. See I had a quick success after I met James Read the rest of this entry

I am so over small business women right now. I am bored by them, tired of them. Frustrated enough to admit I actually prefer dealing with men in business. Why? Because most of the men I know at least take action, are willing to take a risk. OK it can be a bit bull in a china shop. It can be misdirected but at least they are doing something!
The women I have been around at networking and the like have so many reasons not to succeed I can’t be bothered listening anymore. There is a world of opportunity out there women! In fact now I can understand why whenever I look at people speaking at events, the great minds of business, the mentors of internet marketing and online business they are almost all men. That statement blew me away yesterday. Have you ever added up how much time you spend on projects for everyone other than you? Or, how much time you invest in making other people feel good, better, happy, loved, confident etc? Now how much time do you spend on you, making your projects happen or making you feel good, better, happy…….

Wake Up Time is Ticking Away
Scary uh? As women we are woeful at prioritizing our needs and desires. We have been brought up to nurture others and come last. Read the rest of this entry
